We might do one or more of the fullowing:

Research the ownership and history of your property and the surrounding area.

Look for any other accounts of haunted events taking place in your site or the surrounding area.

Arrange to interview anyone at your site who has experienced an unexplained event related to your possible haunting.

Make a preliminary visit to your site to examine it for stray electromagnetic leakage, bad plumbing, construction flaws, mechanical problems and other things that could explain your experiences.

DURING YOUR INVESTIGATION

Investigators will arrive unobtrusively at your site. Typically, we will set up our equipment, record and take measurements, take photographs and do video/audio recording.

Depending on the scope of your investigation, we may be there for only a couple of hours or as long as an entire evening (or more). The length of the investigation is pre-arranged with you before we come.

We may ask any extra people other than you or your representative to leave the area for the duration of the investigation.

Please do not have any children present as paranormal investigations may frighten them or their activities may interfere with the investigators.

We will need absulute quiet and talking is in normal tones, kept to a minimum.

If any evidence of hoaxing, tricks or a prank is uncovered, we will pack up immediately and leave the premises.

AFTER YOUR INVESTIGATION

Investigators will compile the gathered data and analyze it for possible paranormal activity. This will include any odd mists, shapes or movement recorded by cameras and camcorders, unexplained noises or speech on audio recordings and odd readings on our sensor equipment.

We will also integrate interviews and our own personal experiences prior to deciding whether your site is definitely haunted, evidence is inconclusive or there is no evidence of haunting.

We will contact you within two weeks and discuss any results we have gotten. Tangible results such as photos, video or audio recordings may be burned onto a CD and given to you for your permanent records.

ECWPI reserves the right to share any evidence recorded publicly as long as we do not reveal where the evidence was obtained.
